The core faculty members of the Program in Bioengineering represent senior researchers from Departments in the School of Medicine who are actively engaged in Bioengineering research and education. Together they form a Committee that develops the plan for the growth of Bioengineering at UCSF and they oversee all aspects of its implementation. Ongoing activities include maintaining a dedicated seminar series, initiating new courses, applying for training grants to support increased student enrollment and participating in recruiting new faculty.
